PODCAST → VERTICAL CLIPS
Turn one podcast into clips for every short-video channel
Repurpose a filmed podcast into vertical clips for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts without rebuilding the edit for each destination. ClipFlap finds self-contained moments, reframes the speakers and burns in timed captions.
- 1
Bring in the filmed episode
Paste a YouTube or Google Drive link, or upload a video file up to 8 GB. ClipFlap works from the video episode rather than an audio-only RSS feed.
- 2
Choose moments that travel well
The transcript is evaluated for arguments, stories, exchanges and explanations that make sense away from the full episode. Weak or context-dependent fragments can be left out.
- 3
Prepare platform-ready masters
The conversation is reframed to 9:16 and captioned word by word. Each downloaded master can then be scheduled or posted in the channel workflow you already use.
Repurpose an episode without making three separate edits
TikTok, Reels and Shorts share a vertical viewing context, but your captions, titles and posting decisions still need editorial review. ClipFlap creates a common finished master so the visual edit is not repeated for every platform. You remain free to vary the post copy, cover title or publishing time per channel.
This makes the page about episode repurposing rather than one destination. A producer can process the weekly show once, review the candidate clips, and decide which moments belong on each audience feed.
Built around conversations, not only monologues
A podcast clip often includes a host prompt and a guest response. Complete-thought selection keeps the necessary setup, while two-voice detection can use a stable stacked view instead of chasing whoever is speaking with a narrow crop.
Caption timing follows the spoken words and the text is burned into the video. English, French and Arabic sources are supported, including a dedicated Moroccan Darija transcription path when Arabic is selected.

Does this work with an audio-only podcast feed?+
ClipFlap expects a video source. An audio-only show needs a video version first, even if your production uses a simple visual treatment.
How many social clips will one episode create?+
There is no fixed output count. It depends on the episode's length, density and the number of passages that remain useful outside the full conversation.
Do I need different exports for TikTok, Reels and Shorts?+
The vertical MP4 can be used across all three. You can still tailor the cover title, description and posting schedule to each channel.
Can ClipFlap keep the host and guest visible together?+
When two speakers are detected in a suitable source shot, the renderer can use a stacked split screen so one person is not repeatedly cropped out.
Is there a free way to test a real episode?+
